Australian Shepherds

FIVE MILE FARM raises Austrailan Shepherd Dogs.  They are bred to be herding dogs and are characteristically very  intelligent and loyal.   Our dogs have excelled in the show ring, have been used as watch/guard animals, and have made some outstanding stockdogs.  All of our Aussies are registered with The Australian Shepherd Club of America.  Aussies come in four basic colors or patterns which are blue merle, red merle, red tri-colored, and black tri-colored.  They make great family companions but typically need a lot of territory to allow them to burn off steam.  They have beautiful  long coats that need a considerable amount of brushing and grooming.  Aussies love to be loved and actually crave your time and attention. 

We have a gorgeous young red merle male stud dog named "Fred".   He has a great attitude and is super smart.  He will learn new tasks with amazing speed and ease.  He lives to go for rides on the four wheeler and is a great companion for long walks in the pastures.
